MONEY MONEY MONEY

Money really is a funny thing. When we have less, we realise we don’t need that much to enjoy life. When we have a lot we think we need everything we see. Then we begin to wonder where on earth we got caught up in the desire to accumulate so much. We get lost in it all because deep down somewhere in our soul we know that the more material things we are able to buy the less they begin to mean..

Unfortunately, money and wealth are often how we have learned to identify ourselves. Then; when we find ourselves with less, we think we have to learn a new set of values, but sure they’re not new at all, they are what we come into the world with, but we have lost along the way.

When we earn a lot we treat ourselves to numerous pampering therapies etc Sure; we deserve them don’t we!! When we earn less we can’t afford them so we do without.

Because we don’t have as much money to spend, we find cheaper ways to fill time and relax. We find ourselves rediscovering walking, going to the beach, recycling /up styling, cooking ,even growing a few vegetables.. After a while, we realise that the change in our lifestyle means that we didn’t need all the therapies in the first place!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So; as I ponder once more on the meaning of life ; I ask myself would I like to win the lotto??

Hell yeah ;sure I’d chance it !!!
